I checked your roadmap, but looks like you are focused on AI editing and voice cloning. That's good, but at first I thought reap is going to be more focused on to providing a perfect simple to intermediate level video editing solution.
Like manual video editing timeline, background remove, transitions, effects, color corrections, noise removal, manually adjusting captions if needed, big editing preview screen to see and edit video properly.
Basically, I'm after Veed like solutions. Generated clips are good and I liked them. I refunded for now, but if you are going to focus more on video editing solutions, I will buy it again.
A: Yes, everything you mentioned is in the works. We are actively building features like manual timeline editing, background removal, transitions, effects, color correction, noise removal, manual caption adjustment, and a bigger editing preview along with all the AI automations you see today.
We want reap to sit right at the intersection of Veed and Descript: you’ll have both...
Q: Clarification on Reposting Content with Reap: Understanding Copyright, Monetisation, Legal Risks, and Audio Options
Hi, I am aware that platforms like YouTube and Facebook have rules regarding AI-generated content, originality, and more. How does Reap handle and automate this, especially in terms of content originality? I noticed Reap allows users to generate and repost clips with a "virality score" for social media. Given the widespread practice of sharing short-form videos from well-known profiles, how does this align with copyright laws? How do platforms like YouTube allow users to monetize such content? Is it permissible to use Reap to repost others' content for personal or business purposes without violating copyright, particularly since you promote this method in your strategy?
Just curious, before hitting the buy button, Best Marcus
A: Thank you for your thoughtful questions. While we do not actively check the compliance of each source video or channel, we generally follow YouTube’s repurposing guidelines and copyright regulations. We will provide users with guidance and disclaimers to help them better understand the rules.
YouTube integration is also in the works, which will let users connect their own channels for even...
Hi! I just tried out the free version to see if this would work for my work, and the clips generated are fantastic! My concern is that the captions that appear are completely incorrect compared to the words coming out of the speakers mouth. It's not a slight lag or a misspelled word. It's like completely different sentences. And all of the clips appear to be off like this. Is this user error?
A: Thank you so much for appreciation. We are glad you liked the clips. There are some cases (about 10%) where captions may have a slight lag, but if the captions are showing completely different sentences, that’s a different issue. Could you please share your video with us via email or in-app chat at hello@reap.video?
Thank you, Bryce. Yes, it was a small error that happened during a major release we pushed. For a short period, any videos processed received the wrong captions. We immediately patched the issue and reprocessed those videos to ensure accurate captions.
Thank you! Based on the amazing quality of clips the Reap selected, I went ahead and purchased a Tier 3 license and love it! Subsequent clips have had **perfect** captions.
Thank you, Bryce, for your kind words. We are working to improve accuracy to the highest industry standards, and you will receive an update in a few days with even more accurate captions in all languages.

No apology needed! The app's selection of clips was amazing, so I'm motivated to learn if this is my error or just a a small quirk. Emailing now!
